Classification of common edible oils

The main types of edible oils are olive oil, walnut oil, soybean oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil, blended oil and so on.

  1. Olive oil.
    Olive oil is considered to be “the most suitable oil for human nutrition found so far”, which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Unsaturated fatty acids can reduce LDL cholesterol and play an important role in the human body; olive oil in the production process to maintain its natural nutrients, very suitable for children to eat.
  2. Walnut oil.
    Walnut is a well-known “brain food”. Walnut oil made from walnut oil has not only clear color and lustre, light taste, but also retains the nutrient essence of walnut: rich vitamin E, up to 92.1% linoleic acid, linolenic acid and other unsaturated fatty acids. The proportion of linolenic acid and linoleic acid that can not be synthesized by human body is 1:4, which is similar to breast milk. It is easy to absorb and promote the development of nerve and bone in children. At the same time, walnut oil contains the important brain nourishing element, phosphatidylcholine, which accounts for 30% of the brain, plays an important role in transmitting information, and is also the main source of choline needed by the human body. Choline can promote cell activation, improve memory and intelligence. Therefore, walnut oil can not only promote health, effective resistance to external diseases, but also improve memory, help the healthy development of children’s brain. Frying, stir frying, cooking, frying, and cold mixing are all allowed. Refrigerators should be refrigerated after opening.
  3. Soybean oil.
    Soybean oil is made from soybean. It contains 50%~55% linoleic acid, 22%~25% oleic acid, 10%~12% palmitic acid and 7%~9% linolenic acid. The ratio of linoleic acid and linolenic acid is very beneficial to human health. Soybean oil is easily oxidized and rancidity.
  4. Rapeseed oil.
    Rapeseed oil is extracted from rapeseed. It contains linoleic acid 10%~20%, oleic acid 10%~35%, palmitic acid 2%~5%, linolenic acid 5%~15%, arachidonic acid 4%~7%. Refined rapeseed oil is a good cooking oil and frying oil.
  5. Peanut oil.
    Peanut oil contains more than 80% unsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic acid, linolenic acid, arachidonic acid and so on. It plays an important role in regulating human function, promoting the growth and development of children and preventing diseases. Peanut oil is a good frying oil.
  6. Blended oil. Blended oils are made from several high-grade cooking oils, so their nutritional value will vary according to the raw materials, but it is certain that they are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E. It has good taste and stability, and the price is reasonable, which is most suitable for daily cooking.
